Normally I take a more long term strategy to fat loss but I know there are times when you just need to shift weight fast to look as good as possible for some event or trip you have organised at the last minute. So with this is mind here is a plan that will show you how to get a flat stomach in a week.

Remember to be Realistic
Before you give this a try be realistic about what you can actually achieve. In my experience you can probably lose 7-10 pounds of weight in a week. This won't be all fat but a little water weight as well. So the flatness of your stomach will be dependent on how much you actually need to lose to get the look your after.


Also I think you need to think about your mindset. This is going to be a tough week that is going to require severe dedication to get the maximum results. So be honest with yourself that you will be able to see this through before you start.
The main factor to getting a flat stomach in one week
Ok to get the best results we have to create a massive calorie deficit for the entire week.
To achieve this we will have to combine a strict controlled diet with daily exercise. By the way don't worry about slowing your metabolism down during this period because this only really applies when on very low calorie diets for many weeks.
Your Flat Stomach in a week plan
One hour of cardio everyday. 20-30 minutes of this should be high intensity interval training.
Do your workouts in fasted state - i.e. no food 4-6 hours before each session.
Eat no more than 800-1000 calories every day for the week
All forms of sugars and fats to be avoided
Consume approximately 100-150g of protein every day
Drink lots of water - over 4 litres daily
Drink as much Green Tea and black coffee as you need
Take a quality multivitamin every day for the week
There you have it a simple plan to get a flat stomach in a week. Not easy I know but if you can give it your best shot and do the whole 7 days you will see some great results that make the pain all worthwhile.
