14 people lost their lives after a chlorine explosion at the Laminga
water treatment plant in Jos Plateau state occurred yesterday July 25th.
According to
reports, one of the gas cylinders leaked and diffused into
the homes of people who lived in the area as they slept. 14 died while
114 are receiving treatment in four hospitals; the Jos University
Teaching Hospital JUTH, Bingham University Teaching Hospital, Plateau
Specialist and OLA Hospitals.
